THESPIAN
Standing at the crossroads in afterlife, a young man evokes the Almighty, with all his soul’s might.
And Voilà! GOD replies, may be the prayer was all from soul or the connection was better being very close to Him.
Nevertheless he laments to God,” What did I do wrong to be up here so soon?”
GOD– Wrong? You did everything thing right my son.
Boy- Then why am I here?
GOD– Cause all your wishes have come true. You wanted to have a full life, one that is fraught with ups and downs, riches and poor, love and hatred. And you had it.
Boy- How? Last I remember I was on stage.
GOD– That’s where you had it all. You gave life to the characters you played, like a parent does and experienced their emotions as your own. You are a true Thespian, my son.
Boy- Will anyone ever miss me?
GOD– Your true love, she already weeps tears of joy.
Boy- Love?
GOD– The stage, my son. She is already looking forward to your return. Come my boy, let’s get you back to her.
And with that somewhere back on earth a very proud but exhausted couple became parents.
