My enthusiasm for the pursuit of trekking gave me maximum pleasure in the most excellent part of my youth but getting busy for writing adventurous romantic stories in my five novels I forgot sharing the experiences of my gratification with the readers. The subject remained alive in the active corner of my mind and ultimately I felt a lurch in my soul that hit me hard, compelling me to scratch my mind about the past accomplishments and take up the pending job without any further delay.
The book includes the important treks in various Indian States, indicating day wise trek with altitudes and distances between two stops, and a brief discussion on ecological, health and the fascinating scent of rare wild flowers. The book will be useful for trekkers to know the exact routes, the total time required for the trek, the equipment required and the safety concerns which have been briefly discussed. The photographs for most of the places have also been incorporated. The splendour of trekking is also there in two parts, one after two treks and the other after covering all the treks. I hope readers will enjoy my work, which has been written at the far end of my life and is not close in time.
