Harvard has always been a dream college for Kate and when she finally gets in, she is ecstatic. But good things come with a price, isn’t it? They come with strings attached. The string attached to this little packet of happiness is a guy named Austin, whom Kate falls in love with. Sometimes people can be perfect for each other and yet somehow the stars just seem to be unaligned. To make things worse, she has a domineering roommate Haley who is by far the prettiest girl Kate has ever seen. Why would an outgoing and a gregarious guy like Austin ever want to be with a messed up girl like Kate?
For a girl who has been hurt in love before, letting her guard down again, is the last thing Kate would want to do. But love doesn’t work the way you want it to.
Just when she thinks she is getting her life back on track, a party at her best friend Melissa’s house turns dirty when everyone gets pretty drunk. Secrets are revealed and things start to stir up. Will she ever be able to balance her studies and this unrequited love without losing her mind completely?
Falling in love again was easy for her. It was the easiest thing in the whole world. It just took a glance, or probably two and that was enough.
But falling out of love?
Not so much.
